  • Dear all,
    The opening days of The Hall of Buddha Maitreya for the first half of the year are as follows:
    1, January to 28, January
    10, February to 18, February
    24, February to 25, February
    1, March to 30, June
    Closed on every Monday and in the event of a public holiday, the closure will be postponed (Closed on January 2nd and June 11th).
    Visiting hours
    January to April
    Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00am – 11:30am and 1:30pm – 4:30pm
    May to June
    Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00am – 11:30am and 1:30pm – 4:30pm
    Saturday and Sunday: 9:00am – 11:30am and 1:30pm – 5:00pm

    From Tuesday to Sunday, visits are available by appointment with reservation dates corresponding to the opening dates mentioned above for the Hall of Buddha Maitreya./li>
  • In addition to the original photography exhibition and The Exhibition Hall of the Three Saints (Laozi, Confucius and the Maitreya), the B1 Exhibition Hall recently presented an exhibition titled 'The Encounter of Ink and Creativity' at the Joyful Lecture Hall. The exhibition showcased artistic creations including traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, Buddha sculptures, tree carvings, and more. Together with all visitors, we aim to create a beautiful life, a beautiful lifestyle, and a beautiful journey through art.
  • As the pandemic has not yet completely subsided and to ensure everyone's health, visitors are kindly requested to wear masks when entering for the visit. Thank you for your cooperation!

Visitors Notice



To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, please comply with the following general rules and regulations on all grounds and areas:

  • Speak in low volumes and maintain a quiet and peaceful environment at all times.
  • Keep the environment and grounds clean; no littering.
  • Be respectful to all Buddhas, Saints and Bodhisattvas. Do not stand, climb or sit on the statues.
  • Children must be attended by parent/guardians at all times.
  • Give priority to the young, elderly, handicapped or pregnant when using the elevators.
  • For eco-friendly purposes, visitors are encouraged to bring reusable cups or bottles to The Hall of Buddha Maitreya
  • Switch off mobile phones or set it on vibration mode upon entering the premise.
  • The umbrella rack is provided for public use. However, to prevent loss, it is recommended to bring one's own retractable umbrella that can be easily carried around in one's bag.
  • Persons who do not comply with the above regulations, or are considered to cause a nuisance to other visitors, such as heavily intoxicated people, may be refused admission to The Hall of Buddha Maitreya.

Dress Code

This will be strictly enforced. The following attires are prohibited:
  • Shorts above knee level
  • Miniskirts and low-cut dresses
  • Bare backs
  • Short tops/ low- cut tops/ belly showing or sleeveless shirts


Prohibited Conducts

  • Bringing in non-vegetarian food
  • Smoking
  • Alcohol / illegal drugs use
  • Bringing in pets or performing life release
  • Possession of knives, guns, or any dangerous weapons
  • Engaging in any means or kinds of gambling
  • Chewing gums or betel nuts
  • Picnicking or wedding photo shoots
  • Solicitation or advertising of any sort
  • Meditation or any other forms of spiritual/ religious practices

Visitors who do not comply with the above regulations, or are considered to demonstrate inappropriate behaviors (especially heavily intoxicated persons), may be refused admission to The Hall of Buddha Maitreya


Inside The Hall of Buddha Maitreya Area

  • Remove shoes upon entering The Hall of Buddha Maitreya on the second floor.
  • Follow and move in the directions as guided.
  • Non-visiting areas are all off-limits.
  • No food or drinks allowed.
  • Refrain from sitting or lying on floors.
  • No photography, videotaping and sound recording inside The Hall of Buddha Maitreya unless authorized. The use of loudspeakers and microphones are also prohibited.

The above regulations are subject to change, so please refer to the onsite bulletin board for any updates. Should there be any violation to the Regulations, which may cause damages to our facilities or exhibits, The Hall of Buddha Maitreya reserves the right to claim full compensation for the damages or losses incurred.
